More Glorious is the debut solo album release of inspiring singer, songwriter, musician, producer and senior pastor, Ben Irawan.
“Most of these songs were birthed during my 40 day fast experience a few years ago, during which I had a real life changing experience and many spiritual encounters with God” Ben commented.
“I spent some time alone at my friend’s farm, with minimal human contact connecting with nature. During my time there, I experienced the beauty of creation which reflected the ‘Beauty and Glory of The Creator’. I had a revelation that exploded inside of my mind, heart and every part of my being, that God is bigger and greater and more beautiful and more glorious than all of His creations. More than the sun, more than the moon, the galaxies and even the universe. He is MORE GLORIOUS!” Ben stated.
“This totally changed my view towards God. Therefore, I have titled this CD “More Glorious” and tried to paint and capture the experience that I had with God.”
Comprising 19 tracks, More Glorious is best described as a contemporary worship album that has a distinctly unique sound that is rich, warm and vocally inspiring. Including the deeply personal and intensely passionate cry of worship in the lead track ‘Holy Holy Holy’, as well as some fun and uplifting energy that will have listeners dancing to the rhythm of ‘ Sing You Praise’, the album has a breadth of worship that listeners will be sure to find appealing.
Importantly, Ben has successfully managed to compile his songs into a well-balanced, vocal-driven album that in the spirit of the worship genre will encourage listeners to embark on a riveting journey into the heart of worship to connect with the Holy Spirit and draw on the presence of God.

Ben Irawan has been involved in worship ministry since the age of 12 when he participated in home group meetings led by his mother who was the senior pastor at that time. He has since completed studies at the International Institute for Creative Ministries and assumed the role of senior pastor at Life Centre International, a thriving church ministry that oversees churches in both Sydney and Wollongong.
To commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Life Centre International, Ben and Life Centre International has offered an invitation to the general public to participate in an evening of breakthrough worship and praise on Saturday 8 December 2007 in Arncliffe, Sydney. The Life Centre Worship Team, led by Ben Irawan, will perform a selection of songs from More Glorious along with some other contemporary worship song favourites.
‘It will be a memorable night where worshippers alike can come together to celebrate the glory of God connecting with Him in corporate praise” remarks Ben.
The official launch of More Glorious was held last weekend at a fundraising gala dinner hosted by Life Centre International. It was released through Headz Up Ministries (HUM) Music Production, a new independent Christian music label based in Sydney. More Glorious is the first of a series of planned Christian music releases through HUM.
